US 36 Curb Ramp Replacements

About the Project

This project will upgrade various curb ramps throughout Boulder County, specifically along US 36 and CO 7 in the Town of Lyons (Phase 1) and US 36 in the City of Boulder (Phase 2). This project will improve existing curb ramps, pedestrian push buttons and signals, gutters, and sidewalks so they are safer and more accessible for pedestrians and people who depend on mobility devices to travel. Work on phase 1 in Lyons is complete and phase 2 is currently in progress at 15 intersections along US 36 (28th Street) in Boulder. Each curb ramp is expected to take approximately three to four days to upgrade and some may occur simultaneously.
