US 50 Culverts Repairs in Cañon City
About the Project
The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin a culvert repair project in mid-December 2025 along US Highway 50 in Canon City. Work will take place east of downtown on a two-mile stretch of highway from 15th Street to Justice Center Road at mile points 279.33 to 281.65.
The work will include relining and rehabilitating the existing culverts. The culverts are located under US 50 and carry storm and irrigation drainage under the roadway.
