US 50 Culverts Repairs in Cañon City
About the Project
The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin a culvert repair project on Dec. 8, 2025 along US Highway 50 in Canon City. Work will take place east of downtown on a two-mile stretch of highway from 15th Street to Justice Center Road at mile points 279.33 to 281.65.
The work will include the relining of 34 culverts along a two-mile stretch of US 50, using pipe rehabilitation by ultraviolet (UV) light glass reinforced using a Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) process.
