US 6 & Post Boulevard Roundabout in Avon

About the Project:

A highway improvement project on US Highway 6 and Post Boulevard in Avon will construct a new roundabout at the intersection. The roundabout will have three legs that connect US 6 and Post Boulevard and will be designed to meet current safety standards. The new roundabout is anticipated to improve safety at the intersection.

Project Benefits

Work Schedule:

• Crews will be visible on site from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday - Friday. Traffic impacts will be limited during commuter hours.
• The project is anticipated to be complete in December 2024.
  Some overnight and weekend work is expected

Traffic Impacts:

Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:

• Travelers should plan for 5-10 minute delays
• Motorists should plan for short detours through the area 
• Crews will be working Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. each day preparing the work zone.
