We need to hear from transportation system users and stakeholders in the project area to help inform decision-making.

CDOT highly values public and agency participation, and it is an essential component of the NEPA process. We need to hear from transportation system users and stakeholders in the project area to help inform decision-making.  Please get involved in one of the following ways:

Public Involvement

  • Join the project mailing list to learn of engagement opportunities or submit a comment at any time.
  • Participate in the online community engagement
    • Late 2021: Review the draft Preferred Alternative
    • Fall 2022: Review 90% design, details of right-of-way needs, and anticipated schedule for implementation

Presentations and small group meetings with stakeholder groups are anticipated.  If you would like to invite the project team to meet with your group, please email your request to [email protected]. 


Focus Group Meetings

Join our focus groups! The first round of meetings were held in January and February 2020 to kick off the project. Additional focus group meetings will be held to discuss the preliminary design in late summer 2021.

Agency Coordination

An initial agency workshop and additional technical focus meetings will be held to facilitate coordination between CDOT, Commerce City, Adams County, FHWA, RTD and DRCOG. Commerce City and Adams County staff also participate in regular project team meetings with CDOT.
