Wadsworth Boulevard & Evans Avenue Intersection Improvements

About the Project

This is an intersection improvement project at Wadsworth Boulevard and Evans Avenue, just south of Jewell Avenue. Improvements will include:

  • A new traffic signal and curb ramps at the intersection of Wadsworth Boulevard and Evans Avenue
  • One dual mast arm, and two single mast arms
  • New pedestrian crossing infrastructure for the north and east legs of the intersection
  • Median work on Wadsworth Boulevard to channelize the signalized turning movements
  • Signing and striping
  • New concrete bus pad on Northwest corner of intersection

Project Benefits

Work Schedule

  • Daytime work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

Traffic Impacts

  • Traffic will be intermittently reduced to a single lane in either direction on Wadsworth Boulevard in the project between 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Lane closures, directed by flaggers may result in delays of up to 10 minutes.
  • Motorists are urged to drive the posted speed limit, watch for crews and equipment and leave
    plenty of following distance.
