Transportation Commission Approves FASTER Funds for Transit

February 29, 2012 - Statewide Transportation Plan - DENVER – Bus operators, cities, counties and other entities are receiving a financial boost after the Colorado Transportation Commission awarded $14 million of FASTER (Funding Advancement for Surface Transportation & Economic Recovery) funds for statewide and regional transit projects for Fiscal Year 2013.

Bridge Demolition to Close Sheridan Boulevard at 6th Avenue Next Week

February 17, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER – Monday, February 20th through Wednesday, February 22nd, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close all lanes of northbound and southbound Sheridan Boulevard at 6th Avenue as well as various lanes on westbound 6th Avenue over Sheridan Boulevard to begin demolition of the existing 6th Avenue bridge over Sheridan Boulevard for a bridge replacement project that began earlier this month.

I-70 Frontage Road Bridge Replacement Set to Start

January 22, 2013 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - ELBERT COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) begins a project on Monday, January 28, to replace the 79-year-old bridge on the Interstate 70 frontage road (U.S. 40), about 5 miles west of Limon.

CDOT Begins Project to Replace US 24 Bridge over UPRR in Johnson Village

March 21, 2014 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Retion 5 - CHAFFEE COUNTY, CO - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and Lawrence Construction Company of Littleton, CO, announce the beginning of the US 24 Bridge Replacement Project over the Union Pacific Railroad in Johnson Village on Monday, March 24. Construction will continue through June 2014.

Bridge Replacement Set to Start near Walsenburg

February 26, 2014 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - HUERFANO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) is mobilizing crews, materials and equipment as work begins to replace the Sull Creek Bridge on U.S. 85/87 (I-25 Business Route), one mile north of Walsenburg.
