Statewide Plan Amendment Available for Public Review and Comment

February 18, 2011 - Statewide Transportation Plan - STATEWIDE – Yesterday, February 17th, the Colorado Transportation Commission approved the release of the draft 2035 Statewide Plan Amendment for a 30-day public review and comment period. The period begins today, February 18, 2011, and concludes on March 21, 2011.

Prepared by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), this Plan Amendment is a supplement to the 2035 Statewide Transportation Plan “Moving Colorado: Vision for the Future.” The Plan Amendment was developed to maintain consistency with regional planning processes and to serve as a bridge between the 2035 Plan and the next plan update.

The public can access both English and Spanish versions of the draft Plan Amendment on the CDOT website at http://www.coloradodot.info/programs/statewide-planning/long-range-transportation-plans.html. The document is also available for review at over 55 public libraries and at CDOT region and headquarters offices. For a list of locations, please visit the CDOT website at the address above.
