March 15, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation will be removing a slight road bump across Powers Boulevard (State Highway 21) near Platte Avenue (U.S. 24) this week.

Lane Closures on Powers Boulevard Thursday and Friday This Week

Safety Improvement Project Underway on US 285 and I-270

March 15, 2011 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has started a safety improvement project in two locations in the Denver metro area that will install median cable rail.

Colorado Bridge Enterprise Outlines Plan to Fix Colorado's Worst Bridges

March 18, 2011 - Statewide Transportation Plan - STATEWIDE—The Colorado Bridge Enterprise (CBE) Board of Directors has approved a bond delivery plan as well as program goals for the design, repair and/or replacement of 63 of the state’s worst bridges targeted to receive funding from its first bond issuance. The 63 bridges are located in twenty-five Colorado counties.

Guardrail Work at MLK Interchange Next Week

March 18, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation will be repairing guardrail on the Interstate 25/Martin Luther King Jr. Bypass (U.S. 24) ramps next Tuesday and Wednesday.

I-70 Traffic Stops This Week

March 21, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – As part of the current rockfall mitigation project on Interstate 70, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be stopping traffic on Interstate 70 at Georgetown Hill on Thursday, March 24, to allow the safe delivery of materials to areas above the highway.

Luck Runs Out for 682 Colorado Drivers Over St. Patrick's Week

March 24, 2011 - Traffic Safety - DENVER, CO- The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) and statewide law enforcement agencies arrested 682 Colorado drivers for impaired driving over the St. Patrick’s Day DUI “Heat is On!” enforcement period, which occurred March 11-18, 2011. During that time period, five people were killed on Colorado roadways, but none of those fatalities was alcohol-related according to preliminary information.

Bridge Deck Pour to Close Arapahoe Road at Parker Road Saturday

March 24, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - ARAPAHOE COUNTY – On Saturday, March 26th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close all lanes of eastbound and westbound Arapahoe Road near Parker Road from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a concrete bridge deck pour.
