Rotomilling and Paving Operations to Close I-25 Ramps to C-470/E-470 Next Week
May 27, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER – Next week, May 31st through June 2nd, weather permitting, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance crews will rotomill and pave various ramps at the I-25/E-470/C-470 interchange.
This work will require full closures of the ramps each night from approximately 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
To complete the work, the following closures will be in place next week:
- Northbound I-25 to E-470 and C-470: The ramp from northbound I-25 to E-470/C-470 will be completely closed from 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31st to 5 a.m. the next day for rotomilling operations. Detour: Motorists can take northbound I-25 to Dry Creek Road where they can return to southbound I-25 for access to either C-470 or E-470.
- Southbound I-25 to E-470 and C-470: The ramp from southbound I-25 to E-470/C-470 will be completely closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1st to 5 a.m. the next day for paving operations. Detour: Motorists can take southbound I-25 to Lincoln Avenue where they can return to northbound I-25 for access to either C-470 or E-470.
- Northbound I-25 to E-470 and C-470: The ramp from northbound I-25 to E-470/C-470 will be completely closed from 8 p.m. Thursday, June 2nd until 5 a.m. the next day for paving operations. Detour: Motorists can take northbound I-25 to Dry Creek Road where they can return to southbound I-25 for access to either C-470 or E-470.
CDOT would like to remind motorists to pay close attention to construction signs and flaggers and to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
All work is weather permitting and information will be released if the work schedule changes.
