Traffic Stops on Berthoud Pass Tomorrow

May 23, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - GRAND COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be stopping traffic on Berthoud Pass tomorrow to allow crews to remove rocks caught in rock fences and fence repairs.

Beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 20 minute traffic stops will be taking place on the west side of Berthoud Pass through the morning and early afternoon.  Eastbound traffic will be stopped about three miles east of Winter Park; westbound traffic about five miles west of the pass summit.  CDOT expects the work to be completed by early afternoon but, if necessary, work will continue until late afternoon.
