Traffic Stops Resume on Berthoud Pass Tomorrow

May 24, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - GRAND COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be stopping traffic on Berthoud Pass again tomorrow for fence repairs.

Rock removal from the rock fences was completed this morning but due to adverse weather, the fence repairs were postponed until tomorrow.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 20 minute traffic stops will be taking place on the west side of Berthoud Pass.  Eastbound traffic will be stopped about three miles east of Winter Park; westbound traffic about five miles west of the pass summit.

The work is expected to be completed by 1 p.m.
