CDOT Crews to Stripe State Highway 82 Through Independence Pass

July 22, 2011 - UPCOMING STRIPING PROJECT - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Clarification: The striping project will not occur in the city of Aspen. All striping will take place east of the city from mile marker (MM) 58 to MM 73 on July 25 and July 26 and from MM 42 to MM 58 on August 2.

Paving Operations to Cause Major Delays on Hampden Avenue Near Knox Court & Lowell Blvd This Weekend

July 22, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER— On Saturday, July 23rd and Sunday, July 24th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will pave Hampden Avenue near Knox Court/Lowell Boulevard in order to raise the grade of the pavement up approximately 10-12 inches, which will improve drainage and safety. As a result of the work, motorists can expect major traffic impacts throughout the weekend.

Concrete Work to Close Lanes on I-270 Tomorrow

July 22, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER— Tomorrow, July 23rd, crews will be conducting concrete work on eastbound I-270 as part of the Central Park Boulevard interchange project. As a result, one lane of eastbound I-270 between Quebec Street and I-70 will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mount Evans Highway to Close for Bike Race

July 22, 2011 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – State Highway 5 – the Mount Evans Highway – will be temporarily closed to traffic for a bike race tomorrow.

SH 92 Resurfacing Begins Next Week

July 27, 2011 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Section east of Crawford (Blue Mesa area) to receive chip seal surface; motorists cautioned to drive slowly through work zone.

Highway 8 Project Set to Start in Morrison Area

July 27, 2011 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - Work requires ramp closures at U.S. 285. JEFFERSON COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) begins road and bridge improvements on State Highway 8 next week, just south of Morrison.

Guardrail Project Underway Near Colorado City

July 27, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is installing median guardrail and cable rail at various locations along Interstate 25 to improve safety in the Colorado City area.

State Highway 13 to be Resurfaced Next Week

July 27, 2011 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - GARFIELD COUNTY — Next week, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will resurface State Highway (SH) 13 four miles north of Rifle from MM 12 to MM 16.

July 28, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - EL PASO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is chip sealing a two-mile segment of State Highway 21 (Powers Boulevard) near the Colorado Springs Airport next week.

July 28, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - EL PASO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is chip sealing five miles of State Highway 94 in the Rush area next week.

Concrete Work Continues at University Boulevard/C-470 This Weekend

July 29, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DOUGLAS COUNTY— Starting at 9 p.m. tonight, July 29th, and continuing until noon on Sunday, July 31st, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will remove and replace concrete pavement on southbound University Boulevard at C-470 as part of an ongoing project.

Open Houses Set for Colorado State Rail Plan
