Resurfacing Project in Kim

August 12, 2011 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - LAS ANIMAS COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be paving one mile of U.S. 160 through the town of Kim next week.

On Tuesday, August 16, and Wednesday, August 17, flaggers will be alternating eastbound and westbound traffic from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Stops up to 10 minutes should be anticipated.

Maintenance paving extends a highway’s effective surface life three to five years.

Motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
