CDOT prepares for concrete resurfacing on US 160, Broadway south

November 29, 2011 - PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - CORTEZ – The Colorado Department of Transportation is planning to improve a section of US 160 in Cortez, from the junction with US 491 (Broadway) south for approximately 1.1 miles.

The project will reconstruct this section in concrete, improving drainage, curb & gutter, and the signal at the junction of Main and Broadway. The project will be advertised to contractors this spring and is expected to begin in the summer of 2012.

CDOT is hosting an open house on Wednesday, December 7, to share project information and obtain feedback. The open house will be held from noon to 7 p.m. at the Cortez Community Recreation Center on 425 Roger Smith Ave. The public is invited to stop by any time and review work zone illustrations, ask questions and provide comments. No formal presentation will be given.
