Emergency Paving Work Set for Today on US 6 Ramp to Southbound I-25

January 5, 2015 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - Denver - Crews will be doing emergency asphalt grinding and patching work today around an existing expansion joint on the ramp from westbound U.S. 6 to southbound I-25.

This work is scheduled from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will involve a complete closure of the westbound US 6 to southbound I-25 ramp. The eastbound US 6 ramp to southbound I-25 will remain open but will be reduced to one lane of travel during this time so drivers might experience heavier traffic volumes.

Westbound US 6 drivers will be directed to go south on Kalamath Street to reach southbound I-25.
