Grand Avenue Bridge project team hosts public open house

January 6, 2016 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Garfield County/Glenwood Springs – The Colorado Department of Transportation Grand Avenue Bridge (GAB) project team invites the public to attend an open house on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 at the Glenwood Springs Community Center located at 100 Wulfsohn Road, Glenwood Springs, CO.

This is a great opportunity for local and regional residents to meet the project team and learn about the Grand Avenue Bridge project phases, upcoming traffic impacts, and overview of the project,” says Tom Newland, CDOT Project Information Manager.

The public open house is planned for two sessions:

Session 1: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a presentation at 12:00 p.m.

Session 2: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a presentation at 6:00 p.m.

The presentation highlights the GAB phases and construction impacts. The public will be encouraged to ask questions and participate in the presentation. Members of the project team will be available to meet with the public.  “This is the first public open house scheduled for the project, the second open house will be scheduled in 2017 prior to the detour,” says Tom Newland.
