Lane Closures for Corrective Asphalt Work on US 50

September 30, 2016 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO – On Sunday, October 2, Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor, Tony J. Beltramo & Sons, will close the left and middle lane of eastbound US 50, between Purcell Blvd and Wills Blvd.

The lanes will be closed from 6am to 3pm for the removal of asphalt. On Monday, October 3, the lanes will once again close from 6pm to 5am for asphalt paving. The relaying of asphalt in the two eastbound lanes will improve the smoothness of the road and allow for a better, safer drive.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS: The traveling public will experience significant delays on eastbound US 50 between Pueblo and Pueblo West on Sunday and Monday. Alternate routes of Platteville and Purcell are recommended. From 3pm, October 2 to 6pm, October 3, which will include the Monday morning commute, motorist will experience grated pavement and a rougher ride. Slower speeds are advised.
