November 11, 2016 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - CO 184 reopens on a gravel surface while construction continues.

Construction on CO 184 Narraguinnep Canal Bridge will begin at mile point (MP) 1.2 and will continue to MP 1.4 (approximately 1 mile east of US Highway 491).  East and westbound traffic can expect up to a 15 minute delay with one-lane alternating traffic during operating hours with both lanes open at night.

This week construction will consist of roadway work.

The project will be in operation Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Drivers are asked to obey all speed limit reductions (from 55 MPH to 45 MPH) and construction road signs during this time.  Drivers are encouraged to maintain separation between vehicles  on the gravel surface to avoid rock damage.   Area residents are advised that during working hours heavy equipment will be used with possible noise.
