Northern Avenue Bridge Reduced to Single Lane with Flagger on September 5

August 29, 2017 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and contractor Flatiron Constructors, Inc. are reducing traffic on the Northern Avenue bridge over I-25 to a single lane from 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 5 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, September 6.

A flagger will be in place to alternate eastbound and westbound traffic flow through the single lane. This temporary lane reduction is required for barrier reconfiguration and striping on the Northern Avenue bridge. Traffic will transition to a head-to-head configuration on the south half of the bridge.

Pedestrian traffic will be prohibited at this phase in the project and will be detoured to the Mesa Avenue Bridge.
