Jimmy Camp Creek Culvert Repair Project Starts Jan. 2 in Colorado Springs

EL PASO COUNTY—
Expect single-lane closures starting Tuesday, Jan. 2, when crews will start repairing culverts at the Jimmy Camp Creek Tributary at Colorado Highway 94, from mile points 2.5 to 4.5, in Colorado Springs.

Travel Impacts

On CO 94, work will require intermittent single-lane closures from MP 3.5 to MP 4.5 as crews move equipment to work site. No major traffic shifts are anticipated.

Project Info

The CDOT Jimmy Camp Creek Tributary repairs project includes sheet pile, riprap, pipe and concrete repairs. The project will improve the safety of motorists along CO 94 and is expected to be completed by March 2018.

Construction will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no night or weekend work anticipated. Motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures on CO 94 throughout the project. There will be no additional restrictions.

Simon Contractors Company of Centennial is the prime contractor on this project.
