CDOT Replacing Signals at Night Near Cave of the Winds

July 18, 2017- Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 – El Paso County/Teller, CO – On Thursday, July 20, Colorado Department of Transportation will begin nighttime construction on replacing signals of US 24 and Cave of the Winds.

This will reduce traffic to one lane, causing minor delays for drivers. CDOT will switch the old signals with the recently installed signals, as well as removing old signals.

Motorist should expect to see increased activity along US 24 near Cave of the Winds. The construction will take place during 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. There will be Colorado State Patrol on site to increase safety for the contractors and the traveling public.
