Resurfacing of CO 95 (North Sheridan Boulevard) between 25th and 52nd Avenue to begin this month

July 24, 2017 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER COUNTY — Starting the week of July 24, 2017, the Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor partner, Brannan Sand and Gravel Co., will begin work on roadway repairs and improvements along North Sheridan Boulevard between 25th Avenue and 52nd Avenue in Jefferson, Adams and Denver County.

This $3.5 million project consists of concrete upgrades and asphalt roadway improvements. Crews will begin making upgrades to curbs, gutters and curb ramps followed by milling and paving in the project zone. This project will create a smoother commute for motorists.

TRAVEL IMPACTS

Motorists should expect a lane shift in the direction of travel on North Sheridan Boulevard during daytime work for the duration of the project. Typical working hours are Monday throughFriday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and overnight hours will vary based on work location. Milling and paving operations will switch to nighttime hours. Weekend work may occur as needed. There will be a maximum vehicle width restriction of 12 feet through the project zone on this project.
