LAKEWOOD—Starting at 9 p.m. Friday, July 14, crews will begin paving at Wadsworth Boulevard and 10th Avenue, work that will significantly impact traffic through Monday. This work, part of the Wadsworth Capacity: Highland Drive to 10th Avenue project, will be completed from 9 p.m. - 6 a.m., Friday through Monday, July 17.

  • Westbound 10th Avenue restricted to a right-turn-only movement onto Wadsworth Boulevard

Crews will place northbound Wadsworth Boulevard in a single-lane configuration from West 10th to West 13th avenues starting Friday night, July 14. Crews expect northbound traffic to be in a two-lane configuration by 8 p.m. Saturday, July 15. This closure is necessary to complete repair work on a waterline break at the intersection of West 12th Avenue.

Motorists traveling northbound on Wadsworth Boulevard will not be able to turn left at 10th Avenue. There will be periods of no activity as crews wait for concrete strength to continue paving.
