CO 392 to close at US 85 in Lucerne June 19-27

June 15, 2017 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - LUCERNE — On Monday, June 19, the Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor, SEMA Construction, will close the CO 392 at US 85. This closure will remain in place until Tuesday, June 27.

The closure enables crews to work safely and efficiently on the concrete paving with grade change operations.

Motorists should plan an additional 10 minutes for travel time. Detours established to direct traffic around this closure include:

  • Westbound traffic taking US 85 to CR 74 as a preferred route. Motorists can also take CR 66.
  • Eastbound traffic taking CR 37 to CR 74 as a preferred route, bypassing the construction area. Motorists can also take CR 37 north toward CR 66 as an alternate route.

CDOT greatly appreciate motorists’ patience during the closure.

This work is part of the US 85 and CO 392 Lucerne project, which includes bridge construction and deck repairs, asphalt paving, concrete paving and culvert cleaning. SEMA Construction is the prime contractor for the $14.8 million project.
