Crews Start Project on Pueblo Boulevard May 30

PUEBLO—Starting Tuesday, May 30 and continuing through early 2018, drivers can expect single-lane closures on Colorado Highway 45 (Pueblo Boulevard) in Pueblo as crews repair the roadway.

Project work on CO 45 will stretch from mile point (MP) 4.65 (Pueblo Boulevard and CO 96) to MP 8.95 (Pueblo Boulevard and US 50) for rehabilitation work. The project will start on the south end of the project zone and will move north.

Travel Impacts

  • CO 45 closures:
    • Single-lane closures with traffic shifts the week of May 29 from MP 4.65 to MP 8.95

    • Traffic will be separated by cones for rehabilitation work on the west side.
    • After crews complete the west side, they'll shift traffic to the west side in the same configuration to complete the east side of CO 45.
  • On CO 45, speeds will be reduced to 45 mph.
  • There will be an 11-foot width restriction between MP 4.65 to MP 8.95 beginning May 30, 2017, to early 2018.
