GREENWOOD VILLAGE—From 8 p.m. Monday, May 1 through 5:30 a.m. Thursday, May 4, CDOT will close the northbound I-25 on-ramp from eastbound Arapahoe Road for curb and gutter construction.

Also, from 7 p.m., Friday, May 5, to 5:30 a.m., Monday, May 8, double left lane restrictions on the northbound I-25 off-ramp at Arapahoe Road will be required, restricting access to westbound Arapahoe Road for intersection reconstruction (motorists will detour via Dayton Street). Single left lane restrictions will be in place for both eastbound and westbound Arapahoe Road from Boston Street to the southbound I-25 off-ramp Friday and Saturday night.

Various lane restrictions are also planned on northbound and southbound I-25 between Dry Creek and Orchard roads beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday) with only one lane open at midnight for asphalt milling. All lanes will be open by 5:30 each morning.

About the Project

This $66 million Responsible Acceleration of Maintenance (RAMP) Project includes building an additional lane along westbound Arapahoe Road from Yosemite Street to Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, providing three left turn lanes from the I-25 off-ramps, realigning the frontage road in the northeast quadrant of the interchange, building noise walls near the Arapahoe Road and Yosemite Street intersection and widening Yosemite Street from Yosemite Circle on the north to Xanthia Street on the south. This project is designed to reduce congestion and improve traffic operations and safety. Substantial completion is slated for summer 2018.
