Paving Operation Set for CO 141 South of Naturita

April 23, 2018 - Speed reduced in the work zone

SOUTHWEST COLORADO ― CDOT will be working on Colorado Highway (CO) 141 this week, Monday, April 23 through Friday, April 27. A maintenance crew will be paving the roadway at a location 13 miles south of Naturita, from mile points (MP) 46 to 47 in San Miguel County.

 TRAVEL IMPACTS:

Motorists will encounter brief delays. Motorists should be prepared for stops and one-lane alternating traffic guided by flaggers and a pilot vehicle. The speed limit will be reduced to 40 MPH in the work zone. CDOT urges the traveling public to slow down and be aware of workers and equipment on the roadway. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the workday on Friday.  

 ADDITIONAL PROJECT SET IN MAY:

The public is also advised of an additional road repair project, also set for CO 141, to take place the week of May 7 – 11. The May project is a crack seal operation, with crews working 14 miles north of Naturita, from MP 74 – 88 in Montrose County.
