Project Info

CDOT has started maintenance on 10 bare concrete bridges near the I-25 Rockrimmon interchange that will improve safety and ride quality. This project is part of the ongoing CDOT Asset Management/Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program that began approximately 10 years ago to extend the life of the state's bridges to 75 years

Bare concrete decks are more susceptible to deterioration. The bridge maintenance on the structures will include expansion joint replacement, waterproofing membrane installation, and installing asphalt overlays to protect and extend the life of the bridge decks. Driving surface preventative maintenance and safety improvements will also be addressed.
