Upcoming full weekend closure on the Colorado Highway 58 ramp to eastbound I-70

May 24, 2018 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1

JEFFERSON COUNTY – Starting Friday, June 1 at 7 p.m. until Monday, June 3 at 5:30 a.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor SEMA Construction will close the ramp from eastbound Colorado Highway 58 to eastbound Interstate 70 at mile point 5. A full closure of the CO 58 ramp to eastbound I-70 is required. Signed detours will be in place. Two detour options will be available:

  • Motorists can take eastbound CO 58 to northbound McIntyre Street, then turn right onto 44th Avenue to eastbound I-70.
  • Eastbound CO 58 will be closed at the I-70 on-ramp and traffic will be diverted onto westbound I-70, where motorists may use the 32nd Avenue or the Denver West interchanges to access I-70 eastbound.
