YOU ARE INVITED TO OUR
STUDY PRESENTATION!
Get an update on the US 24 Planning and
Environmental Linkages Study
A transportation study of US 24 between Powers Boulevard (CO 21) and the Town of Ramah is underway. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT)
is conducting a Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study to examine improvements for this corridor.
The 12-month study is halfway complete. The study has provided a more thorough understanding of the existing and future transportation conditions along US 24, and identified socioeconomic, environmental, and resource concerns and opportunities in the corridor.

Improvement concepts were developed using comments received during public meetings held in August 2016. The ability of these concepts to address the project Purpose and Need and goals are being evaluated.
The improvement concepts being considered and the preliminary results of this Level 1 evaluation will be shared during a presentation on December 6th at the Calhan Town Hall. All are welcome to attend for this update, and to provide comments that will be used as corridor alternatives are further developed.
