The new technology used in this project provides the following benefits:
- Adds a 50-year design life to existing infrastructure
- Extends the longevity of critical road infrastructure
- Lowers the risks associated with water runoff and flooding
- Maintains safe driving conditions for motorists
- Allows for the existing pipe to stay operational and in place with no excavation or trenching needed
- Takes less time to complete
- Fewer impacts to traveling public
