Southwestern Colorado Culvert Repairs

About the Project

This is a culvert improvement project at 19 sites throughout six southwestern Colorado counties.

Improvements will take place in the following counties:

Location: CO 17, CO 41, CO 151, CO 172, CO 184, US 160 and US 285

The new technology used in this project provides the following benefits:

Adds a 50-year design life to existing infrastructure
Extends the longevity of critical road infrastructure
Lowers the risks associated with water runoff and flooding
Maintains safe driving conditions for motorists
Allows for the existing pipe to stay operational and in place with no excavation or trenching needed
Takes less time to complete
Fewer impacts to traveling public
