Interstate 25 in the Fountain Area

March 4, 2011 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - EL PASO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation will be crack sealing Interstate 25 in the Fountain area for the next couple of weeks.

Beginning on Monday, March 7, the right or left lane of northbound or southbound I-25 will be closed in various locations between mile 123 (about four miles south of Fountain) and South Academy Boulevard.  Operations will be taking place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Drivers can expect slowing through the area since traffic will be reduced to one lane.

Work continues each weekday, during the hours listed above, through Friday, March 18, 2011.

Motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey all work zone/advisory signs and flaggers.
