Safety and traffic flow improvements to begin on SH 58 in Jefferson County

April 20, 2015 - Denver Metro/CDOT Region 1 - CDOT will begin a resurfacing project on SH 58 from US6/SH93 to I-70 in Jefferson County this week.

JEFFERSON COUNTY – Starting this week, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a resurfacing project on SH 58 from US6/SH93 to I-70 in Jefferson County. The project was contracted to APC Construction Co. of Golden, CO. for $5.4 million and is scheduled for completion in 65 working days.

The project will include guardrail replacements, minor ramp widening, minor bridge fixes and signal head upgrades. Work, including intermittent lane closures, will take place Mondays – Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with night work possible. Speed will be reduced to 55 mph during working hours.
