SH 9 Breckenridge construction to resume

April 16, 2015 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - SUMMIT COUNTY/BRECKENRIDGE—On Monday, April 20, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and APC Southern Construction will resume work on SH 9 between Frisco and Breckenridge.

Work includes median work cleanup and project finalization and is expected to finish the end of May 2015.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS: Motorists can expect minimal traffic impacts, with daily single lane closures both northbound and southbound. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Speed limits are reduced to 45 mph through the construction zone.

Construction, which began in June 2013, is in its final stages of work after taking a break for the winter months. The project is part of a larger effort to widen SH 9 to accommodate increased traffic on the highway.

CDOT and the APC Southern project team thanks you for your patience during construction.
