Public Hearing on C-470 Corridor Revised Environmental Assessment to be Held Tomorrow

August 25, 2015 - Denver Metro/CDOT Region 1 - Meeting from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lone Tree Arts Center.

DOUGLAS COUNTY – A public hearing on the C-470 Corridor Revised Environmental Assessment (Revised EA), Kipling Parkway to I-25 (July 2015) will be held tomorrowevening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree, Colorado, 80124.  The meeting will be a drop-in, open house format with a formal presentation given at 6 p.m. Members of the project team will be available to answer questions.

A court reporter will be available for those persons who would like to make a statement regarding the project and have it included in the official transcript of the public hearing. Participants also will have the opportunity to fill out comment forms and leave them at the meeting in designated comment boxes. 

The Lone Tree Arts Center is ADA accessible. Reasonable accommodations for participation in this event will be made upon request, including those for disabilities and translation services.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) released the Revised EA for public review and comment on July 28. The comment period will continue through Friday, September 11, 2015.  The complete document is available in electronic format on the CDOT website at www.codot.gov/projects/c470ExpressLanes. Comments can be submitted online.

The FHWA and CDOT seek to make improvements to C-470 that relieve congestion, decrease delays and improve travel reliability. The project also includes pavement re-construction, alignment improvements and direct-connect ramps at the C-470 and I-25 interchange.
