Havana Street Closed Overnight at I-70 to Set Girders

December 2, 2015 - Denver Metro/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER – Overnight Wednesday, Dec. 2, and Thursday, Dec. 3, Havana Street will be closed beneath Interstate 70 to all vehicles and pedestrians while crews place girders for the new bridge over Havana.

These closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. Transportation will be provided for pedestrians.

Drivers can also expect single right lane closures in both directions of I-70 at Havana Street from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. to facilitate this work.

To detour around this closure, northbound drivers on Havana Street will be directed west on E. 40th Avenue to Central Park Boulevard, north on Central Park Boulevard to Northfield/E. 47th Avenue and east on E. 47th Avenue back to Havana Street. Southbound drivers will be directed to use the same detour route in reverse.

This work is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change.
