Highway Closures in Eden Area Next Week

December 9, 2015 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 -

PUEBLO – Interstate 25 will be closed between north Pueblo and Purcell Boulevard for several nights next week to allow bridge girders to be placed above the highway as part of Dillon Drive Interchange Construction Project.  

Sunday, December 13, and Monday, December 14 – 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

SOUTHBOUND I-25 CLOSED at Purcell Boulevard – Exit 108.  Traffic detoured via Purcell Boulevard to U.S. 50, then east on U.S. 50 to I-25.  No vehicle access to southbound I-25 from the Purcell and Eden interchanges.

Tuesday, December 15, and Wednesday, December 16 – 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

NORTHBOUND I-25 CLOSED at Eagleridge Boulevard – Exit 102.  Traffic detoured via Eagleridge Boulevard, Elizabeth Street, Platteville Boulevard and Purcell Boulevard to I-25.  No vehicle access to northbound I-25 from the Eagleridge interchange.

All work is weather permitting.

The City of Pueblo, with oversite from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), is building the interchange to facilitate access between I-25 and the current and future residential and commercial areas in north Pueblo.  Construction is scheduled for completion in fall 2016.
