December 15, 2015 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO – The closure of Interstate 25 is being delayed one night due to adverse weather. Northbound I-25 was scheduled to be closed from Eagleridge Boulevard to Purcell Boulevard tonight.

However, due to the blizzard in the northern part of Colorado, the girders for the Dillon Drive Interchange Project will not be deliveredtonight.

I-25 now will be closed, as follows:

Wednesday, December 16, and Thursday, December 17 – 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

NORTHBOUND I-25 CLOSED at Eagleridge Boulevard – Exit 102.  Traffic detoured via Eagleridge Boulevard, Elizabeth Street, Platteville Boulevard and Purcell Boulevard to I-25.  No vehicle access to northbound I-25 from the Eagleridge interchange.

All work is weather permitting.

The City of Pueblo, with oversite from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), is building the interchange to facilitate access between I-25 and the current and future residential and commercial areas in north Pueblo.  Construction is scheduled for completion in fall 2016.
