Eastbound I-70 at Havana Street traffic shift and ramp closures

October 28, 2016 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - Overnight Oct. 30, the Colorado Department of Transportation will shift eastbound Interstate 70 traffic to the north.

 

Traffic will remain in this temporary lane configuration until Nov. 7 when the permanent eastbound I-70 lane configuration is opened to traffic. 

The overnight traffic shift will require eastbound I-70 lane closures from Peoria Street to Central Park Boulevard. Single lane closures are scheduled to go into effect Sunday, Oct. 30 and Sunday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. followed by double lane closures at 9 p.m. and triple lane closures at 11 p.m. All eastbound I-70 lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Traffic will be in the temporary lane configuration on Oct. 31 and in the permanent lane configuration on Nov. 7.  

 On Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. the eastbound I-70 off-ramp to Havana Street will close to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The ramp will remain closed until Nov. 7

The westbound I-70 off-ramp to Havana Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5. Westbound I-70 from Peoria Street to just west of Havana Street will experience a single right lane closure from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5

DETOUR ROUTE

Westbound I-70 off-ramp to Havana Street traffic will be detoured to the Peoria Street off-ramp north to 47thAvenue back to Havana Street. 

All work is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change.
