Nighttime Lane Closures on I-25 for Express Lane Sign Maintenance

October 7, 2016 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER – Plenary Group and the Colorado Department of Transportation will require nighttime lane closures on Interstate 25 in Denver for Central I-25 Express Lanes overhead sign maintenance.

 

Delays are anticipated and alternate routes are suggested.

NORTHBOUND I-25 IMPACTS

When: 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11, until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, and 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, until 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13

What: The two left lanes of traffic will be closed on northbound I-25 from Auraria Parkway to the Central I-25 Express Lanes entrance (near 20th Street). Two lanes of traffic will remain open at all times in addition to the auxiliary lanes, and speeds will be reduced. The entrance to the northbound Central I-25 Express Lanes will be closed. Drivers may reenter the Express Lanes near 76th Avenue.

SOUTHBOUND I-25 IMPACTS

When: 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11, until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, and 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, until 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13

What: The two left lanes of traffic will be closed on southbound I-25 from 88th Avenue to the US 36 flyover. Access to Interstate 270 will not be impacted and two lanes of traffic will remain open at all times. Speeds will be reduced. The southbound I-25 entrance to the Central I-25 Express Lanes is closed during these hours.
