Crews Start Overnight Work Sept. 20 on Sheridan Boulevard (CO 95) Between 25th and 52nd Avenues

JEFFERSON, ADAMS AND DENVER COUNTIES—From 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20 through the beginning of October, crews will work to repair the surface of Sheridan Boulevard (Colorado Highway 95) between 25th Avenue and 52nd Avenue.

This work will impact properties along CO 95 six blocks at a time per night. We encourage residents to park their vehicles elsewhere on nights when work is scheduled in their area to ensure they can come and go as needed. Project work will move in one direction at a time, starting northbound from 25th Avenue to 52nd Avenue, before heading southbound from 52nd Avenue to 25th Avenue.

Travel Impacts

  • Expect single-lane closures during working hours.
  • There will be one lane open in each direction during construction.
  • Daytime work may occur as needed.
  • Vehicles wider than 12 feet will be restricted from entering the work zone.

Project Background

This $3.5 million roadway improvement project includes making upgrades to curbs, gutters and curb ramps, followed by road repairs that will create a smoother commute for motorists. Work is anticipated to end in winter 2017.
