Crews Extend US 24 Closure to Cave of the Winds due to Flooding

SOUTHEAST COLORADO—CDOT has extended its closure of US Highway 24 to be between Green Mountain Falls and Cave of the Winds in both directions. There is no estimated time of reopening. The closure is due to flash flooding in the area.

Please avoid of the closure points on US 24. There is no stopping, parking or standing outside of vehicles along the highway shoulder, near the roadway.
