US 6/Clear Creek Canyon Closed Through 6 a.m. Sept. 18

JEFFERSON COUNTY—US Highway 6 will be closed between Colorado Highway 119 and US Highway 40 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, following the discovery of a deteriorating tunnel wall in Clear Creek Canyon on Monday, Sept. 17.
Motorists can use Interstate 70 as a detour, and can still access US 40 from I-70 and CO 119 from US 6.
