Kathleen Bracke serves as a member of Colorado’s Transportation Commission, representing CDOT District 5, including Larimer, Weld, and Morgan counties. Bracke has worked in the transportation sector for more than 25+ years, primarily with local governments, including the City of Boulder (CO), City of Fort Collins (CO), City of Anaheim (CA), and University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
Her professional focus areas include transportation planning, policy, finance, and developing innovative multimodal services, programs, and projects, including local and regional transit. Bracke’s transportation philosophy centers on advancing public safety and sustainability in service of Colorado’s environmental stewardship and economic vitality goals, with a focus on serving people using all modes of travel as well as efficiently moving goods and services. Bracke also serves on Colorado’s Regional Air Quality Council and the Commuting Solutions Board of Directors.
Bracke lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, and has an undergraduate degree in sociology and a master’s degree in Urban Planning, specializing in Transportation from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
