Granite Engineering Group, Inc. (GEG) is a newly established engineering firm located in the Front Range of Colorado. GEG specializes in materials testing, construction management and inspection, geotechnical engineering and design. GEG has 29 current employees with three professional Engineers and one PHD. GEG has a full-scale accredited laboratory to provide concrete, asphalt, and soil testing, GEG is also a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Emerging Small business (ESB) entity, Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE). They have worked on a variety of CDOT projects, including:
- Bridge Bundle – RS&H is providing project management, construction inspection, and Contract Administration for this Design Build project that is replacing 17 obsolete bridges, while Granite Engineering Group (GEG) is providing Materials Management and materials testing services as a subconsultant to RS&H - CDOT Region 2
- I-25 Ramps – RS&H provided project management and construction inspection for this milling and overlay project, while GEG provided materials testing services as a sub to RS&H - CDOT Region 2
- 270 Critical Bridges – GEG is providing Geotechnical Engineering Support for the design of the CO 270 Critical Bridges project - CDOT Region 1
