I-76 Resurfacing project between Sedgwick and Nebraska begins today

April 1, 2013 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Project will include improvements to US 138/385/1st Street in Julesburg SEDGWICK COUNTY — Beginning today, Monday April 1, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has started an interstate resurfacing project in the eastbound lanes of I-76 from Sedgwick to the Nebraska state line near Julesburg, mile marker (MM) 165 to MM 175. The project is expected to last until September 2013.

Phase 3 of I-70B Reconstruction to Begin

April 3, 2013 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Project to increase safety, mobility - GRAND JUNCTION – The Colorado Department of Transportation will start Phase 3 of the I-70B (also known as US 6 & 50), reconstruction project next Monday, April 8.

Twin Tunnels Weekly Traffic Advisory

April 4, 2013 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - IDAHO SPRINGS – The Interstate 70 frontage road now is functioning as the one-mile detour route for all eastbound traffic, allowing full-scale excavation work to get underway at the Twin Tunnels.

I-70 Resurfacing Work Beginning Monday

April 5, 2013 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Work will take place between Eagle and Edwards - EAGLE COUNTY — Beginning Monday, April 8 and lasting through August 2013, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a resurfacing project on Interstate 70 between mile markers (MM) 147 and MM 164 (from Eagle to Edwards).

CDOT and HPTE Select Concessionaire to Complete the US 36 Express Lanes Project

April 5, 2013 - Denver Metro Area/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER - Today, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the High Performance Transportation Enterprise (HPTE) announced the selection of Plenary Roads Denver as the Concessionaire for phase II of the US 36 Express Lanes/Bus Rapid Transit project between 88th Street and Table Mesa, which will complete improvements to the entire US 36 corridor between Denver and Boulder.

I-70 Detour Tonight at Floyd Hill

April 11, 2013 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation will close Interstate 70 at Floyd Hill tonight to allow Xcel Energy to reinstall a high-voltage power line across the highway. A truck accident last week brought down the line.

CDOT Announces 2013 Summer Construction Plans for the Denver Metro Area and I-70 West Corridor

April 11, 2013 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER METRO— Today, April 11, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced its plans for construction this summer in the Denver metro area and the I-70 corridor between C-470 and the Eisenhower Tunnel, including the $106 million safety and capacity improvement project on I-70 near Idaho Springs and another $106 million project between Federal Boulevard and I-25.

April 12, 2013 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – Nighttime construction on Interstate 25 between Woodmen Road and N. Academy Boulevard will reduce the interstate to one lane early next week as crews restripe and place barrier in advance of work to expand the highway.
