Realignment Work to Close the Ramp from Southbound I-225 to Parker Road Next Week

April 19, 2013 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - AURORA— Sunday, April 21st through Thursday. April 25th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close the ramp from southbound I-225 to Parker Road for ramp realignment, open trench construction of a storm sewer pipe and replacement of concrete pavement.

April 19, 2013 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - IDAHO SPRINGS – The eastbound Interstate 70 frontage road is operating and traffic is moving smoothly through the two-lane, one-mile detour route, allowing full-scale excavation work to proceed at the Twin Tunnels. Drivers should anticipate slower traffic and a 35 mph speed limit while the detour is in place through late 2013.

State Patrol Honors CDOT Employee, Two Troopers

April 19, 2013 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - DENVER, COLORADO – The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) has honored three men, two of them CSP employees and one an employee of the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), for their quick and effective actions that saved the life of a motorist following a vehicle accident on SH 17 near Cumbres Pass in southern Colorado on Feb. 9, 2013.

CDOT Begins FASTER-Funded Safety Improvements on US 50 West of Blue Mesa Reservoir

April 22, 2013 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - GUNNISON COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation has begun a major safety improvement project on US 50, west of Blue Mesa Reservoir. The work zone lies between the east end of Pleasant Valley (mile point 117.6) and the east side of Blue Creek Summit (MP 121.7).

CDOT Announces Summer/Fall Construction Projects in Northwest Colorado

April 25, 2013 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - NORTHWEST COLORADO – On the heels of National Work Zone Awareness Week (which this year was April 15-19), the Colorado Department of Transportation announces its summer and fall 2013 construction projects in the northwest section of the state, including Delta, Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Jackson, Lake, Mesa, Moffat, Montrose, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Routt, and Summit counties.

April 25, 2013 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - EL PASO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close the right lane of westbound U.S. 24, one mile west of Manitou Springs, on Friday, April 26, to allow crews to break up the boulders that came down onto the highway Tuesday night.
