I-70 Eagle Interchange Project Public Open House

June 26, 2013 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - EAGLE COUNTY — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the Town of Eagle and project contractor Flatiron Construction are hosting a public open house to share information and answer questions about the I-70 Eagle Interchange project, scheduled to begin in mid-July.

The open house is set for next Monday, July 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Eagle Town Hall on 200 Broadway.

The reconstruction and safety-improvement project will upgrade the I-70 Eagle interchange and portions of Eby Creek Road by constructing roundabouts at ramp intersections and a pedestrian bridge over I-70. The safety improvements are funded in part by Colorado FASTER. The project is scheduled from July 2013 through fall of 2014.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to:

• Meet the project contractor

• Learn about the construction schedule

• See the designs for the new upgrades for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists

• Hear the plan to maintain access during the project

• Learn how to keep in touch with the project team
