Final Day for Pro Challenge

August 25, 2013 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER — The 75 miles of the seventh and final stage of the USA Pro Challenge (USAPC) runs through city streets today.

Impacts to the state highway system are minimal.  Colfax Avenue (U.S. 40/287) between Speer Boulevard and Sherman Street will be closed from mid-morning to late afternoon.  Ramp closures also are possible from Interstate 25 to Speer Boulevard and Colfax Avenue.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) reminds drivers to obey road signs, the Colorado State Patrol, Denver Police and race officials.

Impacts to non-state roadways include Speer Boulevard, and 13th and 17th avenues.
