Southbound I-25 Exit to Santa Fe Closed This Weekend

November 19, 2015 - Denver Metro/CDOT Region 1 - New Santa Fe Off-Ramp Opens Monday Morning.

DENVER – The southbound I-25 off-ramp to Santa Fe Drive closesFriday, Nov. 20, at 9 p.m. and access to Santa Fe from southbound I-25 will be restricted throughout the weekend until the new off-ramp opens Monday, Nov. 23, at 5 a.m.

During this weekend closure, crews will be installing new storm drainage systems, doing final grading work and paving the new ramp. This new off-ramp will take traffic over the newly built southbound Santa Fe bridge that crosses over the S. Platte River. Exiting traffic will then merge with southbound Santa Fe drivers near the intersection of Santa Fe and Tennessee.

While this off-ramp is closed, southbound I-25 drivers should continue to the Broadway exit and travel south on Broadway to Mississippi. Drivers will then be directed west on Mississippi to reach southbound Santa Fe.

This work is part of the $24 million Santa Fe Phase 1.4 reconstruction project to replace one bridge structure over the Platte River and enhance driver safety by eliminating several traffic weave movements along Santa Fe Drive. This project is scheduled to be complete by December 2016.
